Studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Brunel Technical College in Bristol and went to work for several leading design consultancies and publishing houses over the last 15 years. He carries this experience into his drawing and painting today, specialising in watercolour and, like many artists, finds his inspiration from light. He enjoys painting landscape and coastal subjects, as well as townscapes and people. He is proud to be an Artist Member of the Bristol Savages. He is also a member of the SAA (The Society for All Artists) and very much enjoys demonstrating and running workshops for several local art groups in his spare time. He has appeared on Channel 4`s Watercolour Challenge and was a heat winner and regional finalist. His other interests, when family life permits, cover music, windsurfing, cycling, yoga and the martial arts, and he is graded to 2d Dan in Shotokan Karate. Currently still working in design and illustration, his long term goals are to paint and teach full time. We have 4 of his evening sketches.
